Foreign Bribery – an AFP’s perspective
Australia is stepping up its fight against Foreign Bribery with proposed changes to legislation, including the introduction of a ‘failure to prevent foreign bribery’ offence and deferred prosecution agreements. In this session, Detective Superintendent Brett James, Australian Federal Police, will be interviewed on the AFP’s perspective in relation to these developments. He will share his view and experience by highlighting recent AFP anti-corruption reforms, relevant case studies and what the changes to the legislation could mean for Australian organisations.
The format of the session will be a fireside chat in which Brett will be interviewed by ACFE Regent and Sydney Chapter President Tony Prior. Attendees will be given the opportunity to ask any burning questions they may have on this topic.
